In an ironic twist, America’s second biggest tobacco company has banned cigarette smoking in their offices. This is a new ban which, according to spokesman for Reynolds David Howard, has been initiated at the right time. He says this should be done to continue the company’s efforts to ensure there is no risk of second-hand cigarette smoke inhalation.

Reynolds Reputation

At the end of the 20th Century, Reynolds had already weathered litigation relating to misinformation about the dangers of smoking cigarettes. Yet the company itself might have remained a bastion for smoking openly since there are few places remaining for smokers to go except their own homes, cars, and offices. Obviously this is not to be, especially since not everyone at Reynolds is a smoker.

Reynolds has already seen itself at the center of controversy this year over their involvement in the e cig business and also for comments that e cigs should be banned.

Bans throughout the Complex

Other areas of the Reynolds complex in North Carolina have already been designated non-smoking areas with certain places set aside for smoking. Employees are unable to smoke in fitness areas or the cafeteria. It makes sense that there should be nowhere one can smoke indoors, but Reynolds will not be the last company to make this move.

Altria Falls Behind

Altria is the largest tobacco group, based in Missouri, and they have not banned smoking in separate offices. That doesn’t mean the move will not come, but the CEO of Reynolds has her own reasons for initiating this ban. Altria is the maker of Mark Ten e cigs (less successful or critically acclaimed as the Vuse) and for cigarettes such as Marlboro, Benson & Hedges, and Players.

Former Smoker Turned Vaper

The CEO of Reynolds was once a smoker, unsurprisingly. She now uses an electronic cigarette instead. The time has come to phase cigarettes out, especially now that Reynolds now sells their popular and highly-rated Vuse e cig nationally and is intent on securing their place in the e cig market if it survives FDA regulations. Little by little this ban on smoking in the office will be enforced until by 2016 smoking will no longer be permitted indoors at Reynolds Tobacco.

But you could see e cigs motivating the same move at Altria. This tobacco company owns Green Smoke, one of the industry’s most popular brands of electronic cigalikes: e cigarettes that look like analogs.

Other Non-Combustion Methods

If an employee uses some other method of inhaling nicotine such as an herbal vaporizer or chewing tobacco which does not involve combustion, this method does not fall under the same regulations. Vapers can continue to use e cigs and oil pens.

As long as they do not light up and materials do not burn (which could leave some herbal vaping pens out considering they are prone to start burning), there continues to be some way to inhale nicotine and maintain the habit which employees might have started with a Camel or a Pall Mall, a Winston or a Misty by Reynolds Tobacco.

Seego deals directly with distributors at wholesale prices, makes thousands of items each week, and their products are priced to sell. To work with them directly you must place a minimum order. In these ways Seego is just like SmokTech, Kanger, and Innokin. One can also hope their quality is as good as the quality of those other brands. Customers seem to think it is.

In this Seego review, you are going to see two lines mentioned: the Vhit and Ghit. The first is for loose leaf/oil/wax vapers. The second is for use with e liquid. There are several products in the Vhit list and just three for Ghit customers. Although Seego sells batteries and accessories also, these are not as important in this review as their tanks and a special sort of coil.

Vhit Products

This is mostly made up of various atomizers, but there is some hardware in here too. You will be looking at the Vhit Elegant, Reload II, King, Glacier, Reload W&D, Rise, and Vast.

All-in-one Vhit Elegant Vaporizer

This is a dry herb unit, all in one, for use with a 2000-mAh battery (18650) and mosquito coil which provides greater contact to herbs. Take a look at what reviewers are saying; the coil is important to your experience. A mosquito coil, by making contact with more herbs, creates far bigger clouds of vapor than with other styles of coil. The Vhit uses double-filtration to create a clean taste and a water cooling tube can be added for smoother-tasting vapor.

The Elegant is made with stainless steel and the tube is Pyrex. Operate it using a single button. Airflow control is built in for great control of your experience.

Vhit Reload II and More

The Reload is a tank sold for about $15 online. Fill it with ground herbs. Most of the same features as found above have also been applied to the Reload II: double-filtration and the mosquito coil, for instance. There is also a push-button cleaning mode so no tools are needed.

Most items come with the same filtration system, coil, and are made from the same materials. Seego is known for their easy-load, easy-unload tanks. This might sound like no big deal: how hard can it be to load and unload ground tobacco? Actually, this part can be a serious pain if the opening is too narrow or the whole unit is small. Vhit atomizers have been designed so that this is never an issue that drives vapers back to cigarettes.

The Reload W&D is so named because it can be used to vape waxes and dry material: that is, with the change of an atomizer head you can select either one. This tank is built with the push-button cleaning method seen in the Reload II. It also has a stirring feature for the tobacco so you vaporize more of it without removing herbs. The Reload W&D contains no glue and is 510-threaded.

Why no glue and why should you care? We’re talking about products meant to get hot, and heat melts glue, making a product vulnerable. Parts could just fall off. There is also the issue that at high heat glue can vaporize, releasing fumes which, toxic or not, don’t taste or smell as pretty as herbs.

Vhit Glacier and Friends

Switch to the Vhit Glacier to vape wax and thick oils. The Vhit Rise accepts all three. A 360° rotating mouthpiece is attached. The Vhit Vast can be taken apart into 6 pieces: a glass chamber, metal tip, cap, head, base, and collar. You will be able to clean the whole thing fully and easily this way, and you know how important it is to keep these things clean. When they are well looked after, they impart pure-tasting vapor. Finally, Seego makes regular globe or straight tanks for herbs and wax.

The Ghit Series

This series is pretty straightforward to cover. A Ghit Series is really just one item but with three types. These are CE4-like clearomizers made in 7 colors which fit with eGo batteries also sold by Seego ranging from 350 mAh to 1100 mAh, available in regular and Twist styles.

Popularity with Vapers

The name Seego is better known among herbal and wax vapers than customers who prefer e liquid. It is not that a Ghit fails to live up to customer expectations, but there is plenty of competition in that direction. Vhit tanks are well liked and affordable to purchase, but they also make use of high-quality materials without being expensive. They are usually plain silver with Pyrex where required. Their crisp, clean looks appeal to the vapor who likes simplicity and discretion.

Pipes http://smoking.ecigsandcoupons.com/best-vaporizers/pipes http://smoking.ecigsandcoupons.com/best-vaporizers/pipes#comments Wed, 29 Oct 2014 02:29:34 +0000 http://www.smoking.ecigsandcoupons.com/best-vaporizers/pipes The old fashioned way to smoke herbal or concentrated substances is to light them on fire and let them burn, often in a pipe much like that you would use to smoke tobacco. Vapers use tobacco in vaporizer pipes too, not just alternative substances, and they are still lit with a flame; yet these substances produce no ash. They turn into vapor owing to clever methods devised by modern vaping experts. Vaporized Materials There is another way to use a vaporizer pipe: with a battery-operated e pipe. Examples include the Steam Pipe and Smoke in Style e pipe, but these produce vapor from e liquid and many varieties of liquid are developed to simulate the unique flavor and aroma of pipe tobacco. Even if you do not smoke and dislike the smell of cigarettes, pipe tobacco aroma is often sweeter; associated with fond memories. Pipe Shapes Whether they adopt traditional or modern shapes, the makers of vaporizer pipes usually set out to combine the two main features: a bowl and a stem. There are cheap versions more like long, flat incense holders carved from wood, but usually the stem/bowl system is there. The bowl might be square (like Mjolnar, Thor’s hammer), a corn cob, Sherlock, Middle Earth, or other traditional style. It could be made from wood or glass. E pipes are frequently shaped from metal. Models and Makers Some of the brands you will come across include Vapor Genie, a company with years of experience offering hand-carved and borosilicate glass pipes. Their “how to” section gives a fairly good explanation of how they work. This company also makes lighters with different flame heights. Butane is not included. Prices for their walnut, cherry, ash, and glass pipes range from around $55 to $100. The Black Leaf Glass Pipe is a borosilicate globe attached to a glass stem. Concentrates are dabbed onto a titanium nail and you can watch them vaporize. You pay about $50. A variety of very small wooden pipes without bowls can be disposed of once they become singed. They are the only thing close to a disposable vaporizer at roughly $2 to $3 each, but these items are so pretty you might wish to hold onto them. A long, slender wooden pipe without a label featuring a lathed dowel-style handle costs around $10. The Eclipse costs $80 and can be used with herbs, waxes, or oils. They vaporize at low temperatures and are very low tech, easy to operate. Just get the hang of your inhalation rhythm. Glass vials are shock-proof and two are provided. Keep them separate, using just one sort of material for each. Several vivid colors are available, so an Eclipse does not appear traditional. Why Don’t Herbs Burn? How is it that a pipe burns tobacco but a vaporizer pipe does not? It has to do with the mix of a hot flame with cold air, a filter system, and using materials that retain heat. There is another way to use a vaporizer pipe: with a battery-operated e pipe.

The Black Leaf Glass Pipe is a borosilicate globe attached to a glass stem. Concentrates are dabbed onto a titanium nail and you can watch them vaporize. You pay about $50.

Why Don’t Herbs Burn?

How is it that a pipe burns tobacco but a vaporizer pipe does not? It has to do with the mix of a hot flame with cold air, a filter system, and using materials that retain heat. Glass, for instance, is excellent, especially borosilicate glass. Heat remains soaked into high-quality glass for longer than wood. Wood pipes are lined with silicon carbide or other inert ceramics for the same reason.

E Pipes

The other way to vaporize, as mentioned above, is to use a battery-operated e liquid system. Shapes are lovely and can be very close to the real thing. Jazz pipes from Steam Pipes use a lot of shiny metal and the stem recreates a saxophone handle for a sexy, modern appeal.

Your battery sits in the bowl. An atomizer/tank attaches to this with a mouthpiece, curved or straight and long. Together they do exactly what an electronic cigarette does, only with a different shape and diverse appeal.

E cig stores are selling vaporizers now, or at least some are. A number of brands make their own herbal or oil vaporizers. But these are not vaporizer shops per se.

A true vaporizer shop specializes in selling devices that vaporize herbs, concentrates, and essential oils. They might also carry electronic cigarettes, but only as a sideline. Some of the brands they carry also make e cigs and the vaporizer shop recognizes how similar these types of devices are.

Identifying the Best Vaporizer Shop

Readers will have their own opinions about which shop is the best (or worst) based on their experiences. They would either refer to an online store or a brick-and-mortar vapor shop they have had dealings with. The criteria for each are similar and we’re going to look at those here.

Listing Features of the Best

Go into a shop or log on with a checklist in your hand. You should be looking for:

• Prices
• Shipping costs
• Methods of customer service access and available hours
• An “About Us” page
• Organization
• Honest reviews
• Warranties/guarantees

The top ones are probably price and shipping: most people shop with a budget.

Pricing at Vaporizer Shops

Each company should be fair about pricing, so there probably won’t be a huge difference between the prices of a specific item listed at multiple online stores. It is harder to compare prices at brick-and-mortar shops, but their operational costs are higher and so are price tags. The best figure is not necessarily the lowest listed one. Take shipping and free gifts into account as well as how much a store charges for extras.

Customer Service

Have you ever walked into a store and felt invisible? That is a sign of bad customer service right there. Give them a chance; maybe the clerk got distracted and didn’t see you right away. Did he apologize or make you feel welcome as soon as he saw you? Don’t give third chances if you have a choice.

How you feel when you walk into a store is a good indication of the sort of treatment you will receive coming back with a question or a problem: the customer is a pain. Having to return a product or claim warranty has been the greatest opportunity many customers had of testing customer service and is not always a bad thing. Disgruntled shoppers have become long-time and loyal customers.

Online stores often perform well in this department, but check out their contact avenues. Do you see an address where the firm is located? Can you email or phone them? Many firms post a contact form on the website so you do not even have their email address, let alone a street address.

Online chat invitations typically pop up and you can ignore them or engage. They give you a way to get help with the selection process and ask questions as you go along. A real person is replying to you at the other end, unguarded and unrehearsed. This is an excellent way to judge attitude, even though the written word without tone of voice or body language hides a lot.

About Us

A small point like company background can really make a difference. This page is an introduction; a chance for the business to sell itself at a personal level. When a company uses this opportunity, consumers get to find out if there is a personal passion behind what they do or if vaporizers simply make them money. The latter instance is harder to detect, but it comes through in the absence of personal writing. It’s okay if a company owner wants to make a living. Just think about this page.

Organization

The best online and real stores are well organized. Items are shelved logically within their categories. Accessories are located nearby (or suggested if this is a website). Desktop vaporizers are classified with each other. Portables are stacked together. Pen vapes occupy their own place. Online shoppers should be able to shop by the price they can afford to pay, according to a brand name, by vaporizer style, and possibly select from top-sellers or employee picks.

Honest Reviews

The only way to really determine if the review page is an honest one is to scan through for a mixture of good and bad reports. Be suspicious of a constant stream of 5-stars because almost nothing is popular with everyone who tries it or buys it. If a product really yields high praise from virtually every patron, read reviews for something that got 3 ½ stars for some perspective.

Warranties/Guarantees

So you found the cheapest price on the internet, even when you add in shipping. The company gives out free accessories with every vaporizer purchase. You’ve found a winner, but hold on: does your product come with a guarantee? Having done your homework beforehand you know that a model features a 6-month warranty: where is it? Another device offers 3 years on parts: is that included in the price? Is the shop you have visited even an authorized re-seller of the item you want to purchase?

If the answer to either of those questions is “no,” check something: are you holding an authentic Palm 2.0, Vapir N02, or Volcano in your hands? There’s a chance the device is a clone and clones don’t come with a warranty, especially not unidentified clones.

Great Shops

Online stores of repute include Got Vape, Planet Vape, Vapor Seller, and Vapor Nation. Their websites are enjoyable to browse and they list more than products. Among their headings are educational sections to help individuals new to vaporizers understand what they are looking at.

You could easily find a $600 bill on your Master Card statement and that’s fine if you wound up buying a product that sounds right for the materials you use and how much vaping you intend to do. Vape 101-style articles lead consumers to products to suit their vaping style and frequency.

Mighty Vaporizer http://smoking.ecigsandcoupons.com/reviews/mighty-vaporizer http://smoking.ecigsandcoupons.com/reviews/mighty-vaporizer#comments Fri, 24 Oct 2014 15:36:15 +0000 http://www.smoking.ecigsandcoupons.com/?post_type=reviews&p=4528 Since portable vaporizers became popular, consumers have been wondering if Storz & Bickel would release one to go with their two bigger mods. The Volcano and the Plenty are both excellent machines, but they have to be plugged in, leaving vapers in need of a product they can stow in a purse of pocket. Storz & Bickel of Germany has at last introduced two portable devices: the Crafty and the Mighty. Both are wireless, operating on rechargeable battery power. This article will focus on the Mighty, which is the larger device. The Mighty Vaporizer Review Reading dimensions on a screen and trying to imagine what that means in tangible terms is difficult, but let’s put it this way: the Mighty isn’t tiny. It’s got muscle, and muscle shows through. Don’t try to stuff it into a pants pocket: deep coat pockets would handle it. Use your clutch for a vape pen; the Mighty will need your full-on handbag. While it is wireless, the half-pound Mighty is too big to act as your inconspicuous vape. The power on this thing is amazing and you’ll see why in a minute. The sort of person who buys it wants to vape away from home and not recharge every two hours. He wants wireless freedom for an afternoon in the woods or on his boat. If he needed a little less power and something small, the Crafty at a quarter of a pound and somewhat smaller dimensions (but also costing $399) would be more suitable. Powerful Mod All of that power comes from two Lithium Ion batteries which appear to be built into the Mighty. They are charged via a small adapter port, and the big news is you can vape while charging. That is an excellent advance; few vaporizers provide pass-through capacity which saves the frustration of going vapeless or having to carry a cheap, spare pen around for just such a time. If you leave the Mighty vaporizer unused for a while, it turns itself off. That’s to prevent overheating and battery waste. Between two big batteries, a heat exchanger, and the Storz & Bickel convection system, this promises to be an amazingly efficient unit in spite of its size (consumers who are still researching their purchase will have to wait for the verdicts from several owners of this brand new device). There’s a cooling system built in so vapor isn’t too hot to enjoyably inhale, but Storz & Bickel charges for the privilege of all this technology: $469 for the Mighty and it’s not even glamorous looking. Solid Exterior The Mighty isn’t beautiful like an Ascent or Firefly either. Then again, neither is the Plenty or the Volcano. They are functional, solid, but not fancy-looking, and consumers routinely rate these as their favorite machines. All of their attractive features are technical and they cost a lot of money. The Mighty is black, ridged all over, and has the appearance of a device that could withstand wear and tear. An angled mouthpiece […]

Powerful Mod

All of that power comes from two Lithium Ion batteries which appear to be built into the Mighty.

Solid Exterior

The Mighty isn’t beautiful like an Ascent or Firefly either. An angled mouthpiece sticks out of one corner.

A screen lights up white and orange against a black background, big and readable. The screen sports a long battery symbol, filled in white when fully charged. Above this symbol are the actual temperature and the one you set. Although the screen shows these figures, a short double vibration also indicates that the Mighty is ready to start vaping.

To set the temperature just press either of two buttons on the touchpad, each a triangle, one showing minus and the other plus.

A Price to make you Pause

How much did you pay for the Firefly or Pax? Neither one is priced above $270. Even the Ascent when customized to the client’s aesthetic specifications is priced just under $300. Consumers will need to think hard about shelling out $400+ for either the Crafty or the Mighty.

I am talking about the mechanical box mod: a device that can be adjusted to reach high watt levels and vape at very low ohms. The mechanical box mod is a cloud-chasing device; sturdy and advanced. Discover some of your options and uncover the special qualities of box mods here.

Variability

The feature that keeps changing and gives rise to an almost constant stream of new mods is wattage limit. An early wave of box-shaped items was slim and sleek, featuring variable voltage and sometimes wattage. They could vape coils at resistance as low as 1 ohm, or possibly 0.8 ohms. This is plenty low for most vapers, but once a customer is into the world of variable voltage/wattage he has become fairly serious about vaping. It is not unexpected that he should want to push the boundaries for more power and lower ohms.

A high of 15 watts was raised to 20, then 30. Eventually, several 50W box mods came into being, followed by 100, 150, and even a 180Watt box. As wattage goes up, a device uses more power. Box mods of 100 or 150+ watt capability usually feature two batteries.

Conversely, the higher wattage mods are capable of vaping seriously low ohms: as low as 0.15. All the user does is fire up the mod and press buttons. These go up and down and so do power levels.

Even though power and special features improve or are added, a box mod can usually be purchased for around $100. American-made products, however, are often more expensive than Chinese ones.

Is It Mechanical?

Most box mods operate using circuitry. A screen somewhere on the device indicates battery power, volts, ohms, and watts. Few box mods are truly mechanical. They are mostly regulated and also perform some monitoring using an upgradeable chip contained within the box alongside wires and batteries. A mechanical device uses a battery but no button pressing is allowed; there’s no screen. Most consumers think of big engraved tubes when someone mentions a mechanical mod.

You can adjust the spring in your 510 connection: that’s a mechanical feature common to many box-shaped mods. This is done by hand, and so is coil wrapping. At least these elements are mechanical.

For a box mod to be truly mechanical, it could not work with a chip or operate a display screen. The user has to carefully wrap coils to a minimum ohms level and create power; increase heat with low resistance or dual batteries. Generally, box mods are like tube-shaped mechanical mods with the Kick attached.

Chip Protection

I mentioned a computer chip: this is the tiny piece that pulls information together to help you adjust voltage according to the wattage you desire and ohms detected. It also detects things like a battery placed inside the mod upside down. It detects problems with voltage: too much or too little, either of which could wreck the battery.

If there is a reason for the circuit to reroute current to the shortest wire (causing a short circuit), the chip detects this likely outcome and shuts off your device. A chip is like an e cig brain detecting high heat, for example, something the maker protects against by venting the box near its battery compartment.

Looks of Box Mods

Now that you know what the box mod does, select a style of “box.” You might imagine a box is just that: a cube, or in this case, a three-dimensional rectangle about the size of a walkie talkie. Holes will be featured in at least one place, sometimes forming a “speaker” style look; sometimes just a single hole. The cover will be screwed on or magnetic. Consumers love magnetic covers; they take so little work to put on and take off.

Some box mods look exactly like a tiny games console. Many feature a rounded side or two rounded edges. They blend a tube style with geometric lines into a unique creation which is hard to recreate in the DIY room at home. Usually, DIY parts are not as ornate or unusual as the shapes found in an Asgard DNA mod or the VaporFi Vox 50. Engraving might be present, and serialization if produced as part of a limited run.

Colors and tones vary. There are muted colors such as those found in the ELVT by Dovpo and shiny metallic shades such as those the HANA Modz boasts. Anodized aluminum is responsible for shiny colors. Stainless steel glistens but is silver. A few items (like the VaporShark DNA) use a zinc alloy in black.

Dovpo’s box mods are made from a tough blend of materials that doesn’t shine. It resists impact, scratching, water, and dust. Fire cannon next to the ELVT and it won’t show signs of trauma. Do that to some of the prettier box mods and their screens will crack.

A JVapes Review

With three locations, the company caters to an online market and clients walking into a store. They are established in Colorado Springs Colorado, Prescott, and Prescott Valley Arizona. The catalogue online is fairly extensive. You will probably discover even more items in one of their stores.

Useful Headings Online

Buy starter kits, rebuildable atomizers, cartomizers, clearomizers, e liquid, chargers, batteries, and accessories. Loyal customers earn rewards points for spending at the store on vape gear.

There are 9 basic and advanced kits. The first three are eGo Twist kits with 650, 900, and 1300-mAh batteries costing from $29.99 to $39.99.

Numerous iTaste products are listed, but the company does not specify “Innokin.” Is this an oversight? Does JVapes carry clones of Innokin vaping gear such as the MVP 2.0, SVD, and VTR? You’ll have to ask. The SID is listed as a Smok product for $74.99 (the kit). Their price for a VV V3.0 is excellent: $44.99 with an iClear 16.

Jvapes mechanical modsMechanical Mods

All-purpose vape shops that sell mechanical mods usually choose to carry clones or the real thing. A few mix it up by selling some of each.

At JVapes, it appears they list only authentic devices, but they also offer some excellent sales which bring certain products almost to the point of clone prices.

The Ibaloi is $224.99 but a Prime by Tarsius, Stainless Steel, is on sale for $69.99.

The Innovape Liberty is listed for $179.99 but the CATS RJ Mod is priced $49.99. An Assets V2 is on sale for $49.99 but the Mojo Chi You Megan is full price.

Anything cheaper was already inexpensive, like Igo-W atomizers for $19.99.

In a Class Alone

The Asgard DNA 30 Mod comes under a heading of its own and is treated as its own class of e cig. This is a variable wattage box mod featuring a built-in DNA chip. There are many box mods on the market at present, but this one is made in the USA using 6061 aircraft-grade billet aluminum, CNC-machined (meaning there aren’t thousands of them available), and use a 1200-mAh battery.

They are fitted with 510 threading to work with many tanks. Chip mods like this one protect the battery and circuitry against overheating, low or high voltage, and the other usual dangers which threaten to melt your expensive device. It should handle sub-ohms nicely for any cloud chasers out there.

Fancy Drip Tips

I have never seen a drip tip costing $54.99, but a Vape Lab selection is serialized and costs this much. The Cherry Pawn drip tip is priced $9.99. Pay $29.99 for a Mystic Atmos. Select the Kayfun for $24.99. Several cheaper tips are also listed.

Batteries, Chargers, and Tanks

The usual selection is featured: prices are pretty good. You will be satisfied, but many battery brands customers rely upon are not obviously promoted (like Kanger). JVapes keeps stock levels up nicely so you will not be frustrated on that score. Select Kanger, iClear, Aspire, or Surric tanks. Choose Pyrex varieties rather than a brand. There are several low cost products for new vapers using basic eGos and also rebuildable tanks suitable for confident consumers.

E Liquid at JVapes

A 10-ml bottle is priced $6.50 and made in the USA. With more than 60 items choice is excellent, but not as good as it sounds.

JVapes e juice

Some of these are the same flavor represented in two formats: Black Label (high vegetable glycerin) and regular (50/50). Caribou Lou tastes like a fruity drink. So does Yellow Sub, and it is one of the most popular at JVapes. A few items are given Beatles names: Abbey Lane (fruit and cream) is another. Try Bananarang (banana pudding and vanilla wafers), Pursuit of Happiness (RY4), or Pursuit of Sadness (darker RY4). Anyone knows what to expect from Vanilla Cola or Cinnaroll.

Overall Rating

I like the selection of mechanical e cig mods at JVapes and am excited about being able to buy a great product for a low price. I would love to see more brand-name items like the Evod, but I think this is going to be a great place to buy advanced products.

They offer fair prices so JVapes can compete. A selection of atomizers and cartomizers (Innokin and Boge), magnets, and O-rings for specific products support the vaper who wishes to maintain and rebuild tanks at home. Just a brief review of their neatly organized site suggests this is a good place to start your vaping journey, especially as an online shopper.

On the face of it the Pilgrim appears to be a pod, like a tiny time capsule or a huge pill. Both ends are rounded and covered, but one reveals a mouthpiece and the other covers a USB charging port. An Iolite Pilgrim is a battery-operated e cig; a departure from O&B’s usual butane-powered technology.

Aesthetically, this is a pleasingly modern addition to a growing collection of products. Nothing else looks like it. The Pilgrim will slide out of sight into a pocket, maybe even your wallet given its tiny dimensions (17.5 mm width).

Unfortunately, there are so many proprietary features that I do not see a future in tank-cracking liquids with this new e cig. Still, if your main purpose is to vape oils, there can’t be a pen providing greater stealth (O&B have not released colors). There are no LED lights; just clean vaping in a simple package for an affordable price. If you rely on Oglesby and Butler for herbal vaping tools and like their style, the company has earned your trust.

Telescopic Mods http://smoking.ecigsandcoupons.com/telescopic-mods http://smoking.ecigsandcoupons.com/telescopic-mods#comments Fri, 17 Oct 2014 02:02:11 +0000 http://www.smoking.ecigsandcoupons.com/telescopic-mods Think of all the telescopic items in your home or office. Your garden rake could be one. A set of tree-pruning sheers might be another. Perhaps a tripod for mounting a video camera or adjusting the legs of a chair comes to mind. These are all items that can be extended or shortened according to the needs of the consumer: to reach further or sit higher, to become shorter or lower, to fold away for the sake of portability. Telescopic mods operate on the same principle but for different reasons. Features of a Telescopic Mod Usually, when vape stores refer to a vaping device as “telescopic,” they mean a single piece can be adjusted without being taken apart and nothing is added to it. Unscrewing the tube allows it to grow longer or one can screw in the opposite direction to shorten the mod. Sometimes there are tube mods that come with three tubes or different-sized tubes are sold separately. They are not technically telescopic, but they do provide the convenience of changing battery size. Advantages of a Telescopic Mod The primary benefit of owning a telescopic device is obvious. You do not need to limit yourself to a single size of battery, but can adjust to whichever of (usually) three sizes suit your needs or wants at the time. Occasionally, there are just two sizes: 18650 and 18350. Insert an 18350 battery to create a modest, discrete configuration. Extend to an 18490- or 18500-series battery for a compromise between greater power, longer usage on a charge, and relative stealth. Fully extend the mod to accommodate an 18650 battery, ensuring everyone can see your big, ornate or militaristic e cig, but also providing your self with the most power for the longest period of time. The biggest battery holds its charge longest, so you can go away for the weekend with just one fully powered-up, no charger, and only a bottle of e liquid to accompany it. There will be no need to change the battery or plug it into the wall. An 18650 could last for two days. Examples of Telescopic Mods Usually, a telescoping e cig is mechanical, not an APV. One such is the affordable K100. At its longest, the K100 is 5 inches in length. At its shortest, the figure is 3.9 inches. There are holes to vent the battery, reverse thread locking so you do not accidentally fire it by depressing the button in your pocket, and a number of color options. RJ Mods’ Turtle Ship from Korea works with 18-series batteries. Again, bottom-firing is locked against accidental activation for safety and to retain battery power. With the Kaleido, reverse threading is employed once more. A vent hole is discretely drilled within the kaleidoscope engraving. Voltage drop is hardly worth talking about it’s so minimal. Keep costs to a minimum by purchasing telescoping devices like the K100 for around $50 or a Magneto by Smok priced around the same amount. It is also available in […]

Think of all the telescopic items in your home or office.

Features of a Telescopic Mod

Usually, when vape stores refer to a vaping device as “telescopic,” they mean a single piece can be adjusted without being taken apart and nothing is added to it. Unscrewing the tube allows it to grow longer or one can screw in the opposite direction to shorten the mod. Sometimes there are tube mods that come with three tubes or different-sized tubes are sold separately. They are not technically telescopic, but they do provide the convenience of changing battery size.

Advantages of a Telescopic Mod

VaporFi™ High-Capacity 30A 2100mah BatteryThe primary benefit of owning a telescopic device is obvious.

Examples of Telescopic Mods

Usually, a telescoping e cig is mechanical, not an APV.

It is also available in several colors but is different from most others because Smok eschewed spring-loaded firing in favor of reliable magnets. They work for longer than springs and can also be replaced just as springs can.

The Panzer costs around $240 when you purchase an authentic Black Hawk, not a clone. Its smooth threading wows consumers. Adjusting the top pin lets you attach almost any 510/eGo tank, prevents the battery from rattling, and can accommodate three battery sizes. Venting lets heat out so your battery is not becoming dangerously hot.

How to Choose the Best Unit

When looking for a telescopic mod, first decide on a realistic price range. There is no problem buying a perfectly suitable, reliable device for under $70. If, however, you are determined to own a piece that will be worth more money in 20 years than it is now, save up for a collectible e cig costing between $150 and $300.

A price like this does not guarantee you will enjoy the best throat hit or thickest vapor; just that only a limited number were made and you will have a serial number engraved on the item to prove it. As for the telescoping part, as you can see from the domestic examples listed above, technology enabling this convenient feature is inexpensive to employ.
